Back To School is a very busy time of year, as it involves a large demographic of all ages, genders, and socioeconomic status. For BTS 2023, the focus was on a minimalistic but energizing aesthetic that would show dynamicism without adhering to common youthful imagery. The colors are the same as the year-round storefront, with added saturation and slight adjustments in tone to invigorate the palette.
I was in charge of honing in the aesthetic for page banners and tile buttons that would adhere to different sections of products. I was also in charge of using stock imagery to showcase our products in a real-world setting, choosing various scenarios from teachers, younger students, to older students, to present the wide range of appeal for the products. The following is only a small curation of various lifestyles shown in Samsill's storefront. I also developed Pay-Per-Click videos as seen in the video reel in the Projects page.
This storefront theme will run through November 2023.
